Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy), University of Sydney

I graduated from the University of Sydney in 1996.
I’m a physiotherapist with 30 years of experience across public and private healthcare, inpatient and outpatient settings. Over time, my work has increasingly centred on supporting children’s development, and paediatric physiotherapy has become my main area of interest and practice.
I have experience in supervising and teaching physiotherapy student placements from Sydney University, Newcastle University, Macquarie University, Bond University and Charles Sturt University.
I moved with my family from Sydney to the Bathurst area in 2018 and enjoy being a part of the local community. I have always been passionate about assisting children to maximise their functional outcomes.
My experience working with people across the lifespan has shaped a practical, holistic approach to care. I aim to create a supportive environment where children feel comfortable and families feel informed and involved.
I work collaboratively with families, educators, and other health professionals to support each child’s individual needs. Whether the goal is improving movement, building strength and coordination, supporting developmental milestones, or helping children participate more confidently in everyday activities, I focus on practical strategies that fit naturally into daily life.
In my downtime, I enjoy spending time with my family and walking my dogs. I also loves watching Suncorp Netball – Go Swifts!
We acknowledge the Wiradjuri People, the Traditional Owners of the land where we practice Physiotherapy; and recognise their continuing connection to land, waters and culture. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging.
